The Terrorism Risk Insurance Program Reauthorization Act of
2014 has been passed and will extend the program to December 31, 2020. There
have been some modifications to the previous terrorism risk Insurance Act of
2002.
These changes apply involve the federal program and the
insurance carriers- not the insurance policies of insurance companies and
individual insureds. Terrorism coverage continues to be affordably priced and
easily added. We encourage all businesses to consider adding this coverage.
